With experience as carpenter superintendents, the founders of Biehn Construction, Inc. recognized a need in the industry for high quality construction services that could meet the deadlines and specific requirements of customers. Based on this need, Biehn Construction, Inc. was established to serve the construction needs of commercial, institutional, and industrial organizations within an approximate fifty-mile radius of its headquarters in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The beginning chapter in the history of Biehn Construction reads: “Established in 1981 as L.B. Construction, a sole proprietorship, and later on June 24, 1983 incorporated under the laws of the State of Wisconsin as Biehn Construction, Inc.”

Over the years, Biehn Construction has seen steady growth—increasing in size by almost 20% each year since its inception. Biehn employs conscientious, quality oriented tradespeople who perform the following trades: laborer, concrete, masonry, carpentry, electrical, excavation, site utilities, site grading, H.V.A.C., architectural sheet metal, painting, and vinyl wall covering. In addition, an architectural division as well as estimators, project managers and project site superintendents are part of the Biehn team. This skilled and diversified workforce allows Biehn to complete about 80% of any project without the need to rely on subcontractors. It is this unique “self-perform” approach that allows Biehn Construction to regularly finish projects ahead of schedule—which directly translates into savings for you and your project.
